Intensive Russian Assaults Eliminate Power Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were injured while inhabitants in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced problems to water systems, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "substantial measures" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing protection systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the city endured intense attacks overnight. A minor died and multiple civilians were hurt.

The attacks follow evenings of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

The entire country is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to identify.

National leaders told the media that Russia was purposely seeking to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were preparing for more assaults.
